Branch Manager / Senior Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

Location: Beckenham, Kent
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per year (depending on experience) + Performance Bonus

Eden Park Motorist Centre is a busy, well-established independent garage with an excellent reputation built over nearly 30 years. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Branch Manager / Senior Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team while remaining hands-on in the workshop.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day running of a busy workshop.
• Carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and fault finding on a wide range of vehicles.
• Performing MOT tests (Class 4 licence preferred).
• Supporting and motivating technicians to maintain high standards.
• Ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely and to manufacturer standards.
• Liaising with the service advisors regarding vehicle progress.
• Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction and workshop productivity.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent).
• Current MOT Tester licence preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Previous workshop supervisory or management experience is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, organised and professional with excellent communication skills.
• Someone who leads by example and takes pride in their work.
